The product is mainly used in hospitals, medical surgeries, medical, industrial and water analysis laboratories.
Product Features
- It is a neutralizing product without phosphates, nitrogen and surfactants, which is why it can be used as a neutralizer in water analysis laboratories and in the treatment of medical instruments in hospitals
- Very delicate in relation to the treated materials; Do not affect the tools for anaesthesia, surgical needles and other sensitive materials
- It can also be used as an acid detergent to remove soluble residues in an acidic environment
Dosage and application
In automatic washing machines (through the special dosing pump):
- For neutralization: 1 – 2 ml/l
- For acid pre-wash or acid wash: 2 – 5 ml/L at 40 °c – 60 °c
Tips for use
ACIDGLASS C2 is added to the main washing cycle for the neutralization of alkaline residues.
As a rule, ACIDGLASS C2 is used as a neutralizer where phosphate residues, phosphoric acid, nitrogen bonds and surfactants may influence subsequent work processes and where a particularly delicate wash is required in respect of the treated materials.
In tape machines, as well as in automatic thermal, ACIDGLASS C2 is used in the acid wash phase of surgical tools and irons (as long as an acid wash phase is foreseen).
Using ACIDGLASS C2 as an acid detergent it is necessary to verify that the treated material, the machine and the exhaust pipes are resistant to acidity.
Pipes in eternity and cast iron are not suitable and require a preventive neutralization of the solution.
The use of ACIDGLASS C2 in the washing solution necessarily requires one or more complete rinsing phases.
